Beyond the Boardroom: Fjords, Forests, and New Horizons Across Canada

When the iG Education team boarded our flight across the Atlantic, we knew we were heading over to discuss the future of learning. What we didn't fully anticipate was just how much the rugged, breathtaking beauty of the Canadian wilderness would steal the show between our stops. From crisp coastal shores to sweeping mountain valleys, our journey turned out to be as much about soaking in the great outdoors as it was about building new connections.

Stepping Into the Canadian Wild

There is something instantly grounding about stepping into the Canadian air. Whether taking in pine-scented mornings or watching mist roll over glacial lakes, every leg of our route across the provinces offered an unforgettable backdrop.

Here were a few highlights from our time outside:

  • Lakeside Trail Walkers: Swapping city traffic for early morning walks along quiet, glassy lakes gave our team the perfect space to clear our minds before a busy schedule.
  • Mountain Vista Detours: Winding through mountain passes where snow-dusted peaks towered above endless carpets of evergreen forest—a humbling reminder of the sheer scale of the continent.
  • Crisp Atlantic Winds: Standing on eastern coastal shores, watching rolling tides under vast open skies, soaking up that fresh sea air that puts everything into perspective.

Where Nature Fuels Innovation

Taking time to step outdoors wasn't just a break from work it directly inspired it. Some of our best conversations didn't happen around polished boardroom tables; they happened while walking along wooded trails, sharing coffee with local educators against the backdrop of glowing autumn treelines.

"Nature has a way of resetting your perspective. Walking through Canada’s vast landscapes reminded us of why we build modern tools in the first place: to give teachers and students time back so they can engage with the world around them."

A Quick Business Update: Looking to Autumn 2026

While the scenery stole our hearts, we didn't return empty-handed! Between trail walks and breathtaking views, we quietly finalized several exciting agreements with Canadian school groups set to go live for Autumn 2026.
